Hi,

We are calling a web service to get the response from the external system in our client server application.
We have defined the schema (xsd) to validate the response data.

Code snippet of the xsd
----------------------
<xs:element name="createDateTime" type="xs:dateTime/>

createDateTime element value comes as blank in the response. We get the below error:

DefaultValidationEventHandler: [ERROR]: Unexpected text “” Location: line xxx

We have already tried the nillable=”true” and passing a default date/time value in the <xs:element>.but error remain same.

We are using jaxb 2.1.

Can anybody help us to resolve the above problem?

Thanks,
Saurabh Laad
