Hi All

Have you ever met with a situation where
you are unable to find solutions.
Somtimes our thinking doesnt match
with the person with whom we work
in office bcoz the person is expert in the same field.
So what do you all suggest
in this case?
How must we convince
our point of view to that person
without creating a misunderstanding?
what must we do wen many people
bcom against us in office?
How should we explain
them that we are not selfish but practical?

Is that person you're referring to so shallow not to listen to your opinion and ideas? Does this person have more experience than you?

In my experiences, a lot depends on the person. If the person is really hard nosed and senior to you, you pretty much have keep a stiff upper lip and just do the job. Or, you could ask for a transfer or quit. I had a boss like that once and it ended up with late projects and a lot of frustration that ended up with just do what it takes to satisfy the project basics. That's a bad situation to be in though.

If the person is open minded, then it's less of a problem. They might have a real innovative idea, but should at least be open to hearing your side and explaining their reasoning.

Whatever the case, it seems to work itself out in the long run. Unfortunately, sometimes that can be a really long time.

Aloha,
Doug

Hi Doug Slattery

Your point of view is absolutly right......
and other thing is that person is extremely expert...

But Some people are not that practical
am trying to find some solution
on to it i think we cant quit, bcoz quiting
will come up with weakness of dealing with different people
in such a suble situation.......
and we must be so strong
that we must be able to deal with
any kind of person furthur.............
hope that could make it..........

regards
