Million record upload and diplay with pagination

i am using spring hibernate.

I need to upload million record in sql server database and need to display it in the fron end pages with pagination.

please tell me which technique to follow up to upload million record and about to display is there any local object technique available to process the pagination.

Don't use Hibernate to upload your data. The bulk loader tools supplied with your database will do it much more efficiently.

Hibernate has its own pagination mechanism (see this). Be aware that if the database itself doesn't supply the mechanisms to implement this efficiently you will in effect be returnign the entire million records then filtering. Check your database documentation on pagination.

Yes. SQL Server has transact SQL commands to do this. Check the docs on BULK INSERT.
