My first struts2 form works fine except I would like to enhance it to supply different values (dynamic) at runtime for lables of textfields and datetimepicker. Also, I would like to supply different date formats (dynamic) at runtime for datetimepicker.

Above is how this would normally work with straight JSP/Html but NOT with struts2 tags. How do I accomplish this with struts2?

Use OGNL, the standard S2 EL.

I created a text(String name) method in my Action class and used the % notation below to access the method.

<s:textfield name="lastName" label="%{text('lastName')}" required="true"/>
