I would like to know how reliable is the org.apache.struts.upload package and if it's recommended for production applications (any known bugs?).
How good is it if compared with the oreilly classes/package?
Some advantage using one or other?

If you are comfortable with the O'Reily package, you might give that serious consideration. I don't use this feature much myself, but it does generate its share of Bugzilla reports. There aren't any serious problems with the 1.0 versions, but there are some outstanding reports for the 1.1 beta. See the Struts Bugzilla database for details.
