Yupii...It will soon be 3 years since I joined the Javaranch. What an experience I had here. Wow! Hope to continue longer.

I think you missed the tongue-in-cheek tone of Deepak's post. Participating in an online forum is not exactly a highly valued skill, much less an "experience".

Can i know why you consider this as a joke? i don't know about ranch because i heared sqlteam.com which is one of requirement to get microsoft valued professional certification from microsoft so i thought may some thing like ranch so if any thing please let me know.

Participating in the forums at JavaRanch may help your Java, or it may help you study for certification, but participation in JavaRanch forums is not (usually) an item of interest for employers. You don't get any certificate for participation here.

I too turn back and I have crossed 3 years already (though could not be active for sometime in the middle).

Point not to mention, I too have mentioned in my CV that, "Being an active member of JavaRanch forum" irrespective of any benefits, weightage but just agreeing wiht Ulf's version of 'experience'.

Out of all, I just feel happy about it What else is required?
