I have the following in the request:
OPTIONS /App/logon/ HTTP/1.1
Cookie: JSESSIONID=.....
As far as I know there, there is an option in
Tomcat
to 'disable' the use of 'OPTIONS', may I know how I can do it?
Thanks

Are you observing that Tomcat is handling OPTIONS at all? Are you sure it is Tomcat and not some added library?
See
HTTP 1.1 headers.
