Hi,
I have read that serialization is used by the container. It is connected with session migration.
Can you give me some clues about that? What is the role of serialization in session migration and distributable application?

Hi, Lucas.

By using serialization, container saves the state of the object(HttpSession object) and passes it across the network. By using deserialization it will get life. We know objects will not travel across network, its state will travel.

OK, I know that attributes (especially session attributes) should be (but it is not necessary) serialized to apply session migration.
