This thread is about bragging. Brag about something which you were personally involved in (personal achievements) or you are associated with (clubs, institutions), culture (history) or anything else you can think of. (I wonder how many people will brag about their ability to pee the farthest )

However, keeping in mind the Ranch policy of being nice, absolutely no personal attacks or insults. No cribbing about past history (my country would have been the best if your country had not invaded 500 years back). Let us keep this fun. Things which one takes pride in, many a times, reflects one's personality.

I was fortunate enough to go to the best school in the Universe
Since I was born smart, and never let schooling interfere with my education (*) I picked and chose what I wanted to learn. My school taught me to never say die and stand up to my own convictions.

My school did not want us to excel only in academics. Here is the proof. And we have been at it for the last 60 consecutive years!

  • I once had a marathon gaming session. Don't remember how long, but my neck was cramped and I had walk with a tilted neck for 2 days.
  • 4 days is the longest I managed without taking a bath.
  • 3 days is the longest I spent without speaking to another human being (either in meat space or net space)

    I spent 2 days playing a game.

4 days is the longest I managed without taking a bath

What is this "bath" that you talk about ? Is it a new programming language ?

3 days is the longest I spent without speaking to another human being

I didnt speak for the first few years of my life. That beats 3 days by a long shot.

    i) I was Mr. Fresher in the science department of my college.
ii)In my 1st job, I was the youngest person (6 months experience) in the team entrusted with implementing and installing the product at the client's site abroad.
I was selected over many people far more senior than I was and that too with no Godfather at all.
I was also the 1st person in the contemporary batch of employees for the same achievement.
iii)Bagging my 2 precious (for me, i.e) Sun Certifications

Note: Only professional and self achievements mentioned. Not family/personal level.
