problem while installing netbeans6.0

I am using windows XP when i am trying to install nebean6 its saying java se development kit not found on this computer .
I created JAVA_HOME environmental system variable with value C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0 the same apth which is on my computer but still
i am getting same error do i have add still any more system environmental variables ? Do i have to restart once environmental variable added ? please give reply soon

Also, please CarefullyChooseOneForum for asking questions. Your question has nothing to do with EJB, neither does it have anything to do with Swing where you've asked this same question.
