I have a Object of strings. I want to convert it to a List to pass it to backend.
How to convert a Object to a List?
Object fileids_ses=session.getAttribute("fileids");
fileids_ses has 123455 122222 and so on.

???List list1=new List(fileids_ses);

Hi,
It's all depends on what "fields" variable has if it has List associated with it then you can use
List l=(List)session.getAttribute("fields");
I hope this works fine.
Let me know
