Hi Bilal,

Since we also have ColdFusion developers in our team,
I was wondering, does your book address other
platforms as well?

Thanks,

Gian

What does Apple have to do with ColdFusion? And what does either have to do with JasperReports? Do you actually know what kind of library that is?

"Other platforms" in what sense? It's a Java library. That's all it is.

Hello Lester, David,

Lester Burnham wrote: What does Apple have to do with ColdFusion? And what does either have to do with JasperReports? Do you actually know what kind of library that is?

...an apple was mentioned in the post

David Newton wrote:"Other platforms" in what sense? It's a Java library. That's all it is.

Let me rephrase it...suppose, that a developer is developing an app in ColdFusion MX (the 'other'
platform). Can he/she integrate JasperReports as easily as it would be to do so from an app
developed in Java? And, if so, is this mentioned in Bilal's work?

Regards,

Gian

Hello Gian,

Yes David is right, JasperReports is just a Java library and it can be used anywhere a Java lib can be used. I guess ColdFusion allows using Java libraries, but I have never used ColdFusion.

Any way my book does cover using JasperReports in JSP applications.
