Hi, i'm new in using eclipse. There is project in my pc and i'm trying to import that project into my newly created worspace. i'm using eclipse. Now the problem is that i can't import it because the 'next' button is disabled.
1 what i did , i created a new workspace
2 on project explorer window, i right clicked and selected import option
3 then selected 'existing project into workspace' and clicked 'next'
4 now two options are there, first is 'select root directory' and ' select archive file'
5 i browsed through 'select root directory' and specify the path
6 now here is the problem. the button 'Next' is disabled.

I'm sure the project is not the archived one, its normal directory one only.
Please tell me why it is behaving like this ?
how can i rectify this problem?

thanks in advance.

Importing an "existing projects into workspace" means importing an existing Eclipse project, which is not your case. What you want to do is to import files from your filesystem. Instead of "existing projects into workspace", select "File System".

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
