I cleared the SCWCD exam . After SCJP we had to make an entry in the SUN
database . What do we have to do here. Make an entry in the same website.
What is the procedure for getting the certificate

Hi Simran,

Congratulations! Good to here that you cleared the exam.

As far as I remember you don't have to do anything. Your status will be updated by Oracle and the certificate will be sent to the address you have given the first time.

Regards,
Frits

Thanks Frits. You were a great help.

Do not we have to update our status in www.certmanager.net/sun as we did
in SCJP.

Thankyou.

I studied mainly Kathy Sierra. Purchased Charles Lyons book also but hardly read it.
Of course we all study many topics from net also.
Read few parts of the specs .

As for the mocks :-
Whizlabs ( trial version)
Niko
Marcus Green
Kathy Sierra Mock Exam
Few names I don't remember just google searched and solved them.

Business Patterns (from Core J2EE Patterns) are very good
APIs are important . For eg. methods like getRemotePort, getServerPort etc. When
doing APIs you will have to remember whether the method belongs to the subclass
or the base class. For eg belongs to ServletRequest or HttpServletRequest.
JSP,EL,JSTL , Tag files, Custom Tags are important.
Listeners to be done carefully.

AND THIS FORUM IS SOMETHING WE ALL NEED. THANKS JAVARANCHERS.

Hope this helps.Good Luck.
