What do you think is the best IDE for HTML which is non-intrusive. I mean I do not like the old Dw like apps which add a whole bunch of stuff just to get a single table aligned. I would rather have a cleaner HTML.

I use Aptana when I am working on front end web development (which isn't very often)

Aptana

I like it, its the familiar eclipse interface everyone knows and loves :P (Eclipse RCP project) it has ftp, sftp, etc. functionality and several plugins

Aptana @ wikipedia

which I just feel naked if my desktop application doesn't have available plugin's for some reason, and is important to me at least.

You were given a link, so you don't have to assume that. You could look at their site and find out for yourself.

Easier said! There is nothing listed on the website that says so!

generally the "Download" button will give that information away :p

Aptana is open source software, and free.

I hesitate to nominate any software as best.

I've been using BBEdit on my Macs for a dozen or more years.

You didn't mention whether you need JSP support or not.

If you are just looking for an HTML/CSS/JavaScript-capable IDE, my non-Java colleagues are very fond of Panic's Coda. (I'm assuming that if you are a serious web developer that you're on a Mac.)
