Hello ,

I have created a web project in netbeans 6.9.1.
I have created a servlet in it. I have selected the option to enter the servlet details in the web.xml by selecting the radio button option provided by Netbeans. Now when i right click the servlet and try tp run it, it gives the error:

class "servlet name" neither has a main method nor it is a servlet specified in web.xml

But I have checked the web.xml and the servlet details are mentioned int the web.xml

Any help is appriciated.
regards,
Praveen
