If you're a beginner in J2EE... And haven't used any of the available frameworks nowadays... Assuming there is no project requirement for struts and you are just building your "skillz". Is it still advisible to learn struts? Or should I focus on other technologies because some say, struts is old and sort of... Unpopular nowadays...
Uhh... I do have a firm understandint og Servlets and JSP I believe... And right now... I'm learning struts... I can say that I'm doing very well with it... I just wanted to know if it's still advisable to learn it. Thanks guys!
While I'm personally not a big fan of Struts, it never hurts your resume to have knowledge of such systems under your belt. So I'd say, if it's something you are interested in learning, go right ahead.
I'll just repeat my prior assertion that one should not adopt any framework until you are well beyond the beginner stage regarding the underlying technologies.
