Most non Mac laptops have a dedicated "right click" key on the keyboard. If I remember correctly hitting Shift+F10 did the same
Is there something similar for a Mac? I know right click on the trackpad works. Also Command+Click.
I am looking for a shortcut using keyboard only.
Any ideas?

Not that I'm aware of. That's a really odd request.

I use the two-finger tap on the trackpad.

Yes. Thats what I also do.
However, I find using the keyboard faster than the mouse/trackpad.

This is one thing which I don't like about the Mac. It does not offer as much support for keyboard shortcuts as much as other OSs. When I was on Ubuntu, I never ever needed to use my mouse. Everything was a keystroke away.

Different strokes, I guess. That'd drive me nuts.

There's a setting under "Universal Access" in the system preferences called "Mouse keys" which I believe does what you want, but it only works on a full keyboard with a numeric keypad, not a laptop. There might be a third-party extension which does this.

But I'm with Bear, can't imagine why you'd want it.

Thanks EFH. Unfortunately my I got a MacBook, so no dice.

I was looking for it as a "productivity" tool. Manipulating stuf using only the keyboard is faster than manipulating it with keyboard+mouse (at least for me)

Personally, I just click the lower right side of my trackpad and that gives me the right click. I can also do the two finger click, but I like the bottom right.
