Serialization : True or False

I know Serialization is removed from the exam but for knowledge I want to ask :

An object serialized on one machine can be successfully deserialized on another machine??? : True or False??

So, it is confirmed that Serialization has been removed, exterminated, obliterated from the face of the exam? we'll see none of their kind anymore in the universe of OCJP 6 exam? Please confirm someone? this will be a huge relief for me. thanks
