Logic iterate problem

I am using logic iterate to generate select box on the screen.
The box gets populated with the options properly but I am unable to select a specific entry.
Here is the code

    <logic:iterate id="test"  name="PlnDesignForm" scope="request" name="PLAN" property="indemnityPlan.inNetworkDeductible" type="DropDown">
                            <option value="<bean:write name="test" property="value"/>"><bean:write name="test" property="text"/>
</option>
     </logic:iterate>

How can I select a specific entry in the list of options?
