After I started using socketTimeout=40, the Commons DBCP can not reopen the connection when time out happens. Every moment that time Out happens, I lose a connection ...and to be no connection open. What could I do to tell the Commons DBCP to reopen the socket connection when a timeout happens?

Best regards
