Hi,

I am a newbie in java programming. I am going to do a project to develop a social network site using java servlets and a database server . Are there any other ways/tools to develop the UI easily or do I have to use the standard HTML code embed in the servelet file. Please help

Thanks

People haven't embedded HTML in servlets for more than a decade. That's what JSP and other templating libraries (like FreeMarker and Velocity) are for. If you aren't familiar with JSP, get a good book on servlets/JSP/JSTL (like Head First Servlets & JSP) that can teach you the whole lot.
