Hi

I am SCJP Certified and would like to take another certification. Last year I studied Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0.

Currently, I am learning and practising Spring. The Spring Certification costs around £20, 000 which is too costly. As far as I am aware Spring is similar to EJB.

In the near future I would like to work on Spring projects. If for example, I take the EJB Certification do you think this would help. I really don't want to take the Spring Certification due to the cost.

Any advice would be helpful.

If yes, which Certification is this and does it contain a mixture in Java EE?

No. While EJB 3.1 has copied many ideas from Spring, it is not the same. And while concepts transfer, people wouldn't likely look at an EJB certification as helpful within the Spring community. You don't need a Spring certification to get a Spring job though.

That's not a certification. It is a course.
