SCJP 6 Preparation Time

I'm planning on taking the OCPJP 6 soon. In university, I've worked in Java, but for the last two years, i did mainly low-level work in C. I need to refresh on my Java, and then start preparing for this examination. How long do most of you take to study for this? And when did you know that you were ready? Thank you.

You have to finish one book mainly like K&B 6 and then do some mock tests that's it.It is up to you that how fast you can do this all.

Dear Brian,

It takes almost 1 month plus if you want to make proper concepts and appear for the exam. Rest follow K&B and then
do mock tests specially from Enthuware, they are really helpful.
