How to implement range search using equalizer look.. equalizer look is similar to handler which can be moved up and down to increase or decrease value of a parameter. please guide me in this. Also let me know If I am not able to make you understand which feature exactly I am looking for.

No idea. Are you asking about a spin control? A slider? Something else?

Your use of the term "range" makes me think that you want to set begin and end values. If so, here's an example of some controls I set up using the jQuery UI sliders to indicate begin and end times for each day of the week. Is that similar to what you are looking for?

Thanks Bibeault. This is what I was looking for. Though I meant precisely for vertical slider, but assume that JQuery should be able to do that as well.

Yes. Sliders can be set to vertical orientation as well.
