Hi,

I know iText is an API for generating PDFs but can I also use it to generate regular txt files. My requirement is that some users want their reports in PDF and others as text files.

Thanks,
Jahan

No.

Then use iText to generate the PDF files and something else to generate the text files.

Or use a library like PDFBox to extract the text out of the PDF :-)

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
