Struts2 without using the Tag Library?

Can one use struts2 without using the customer tag library. In other words how does one get data from the value stack without tag library.

There can be a lot of possibilites. If the data is there in the value stack , you can use OGNL expressions .

You could use scriptlets or write your own custom tag library.
