There's a remove button for each table row. When the user clicks remove, the row in which the remove button is clicked should be deleted.

How do I get the onclick action to work ? =/

I tried using the 'hidden' input tag method, but I guess I messed up ..

Why are you using scriptlet to perform DB access and data retrieval? Use JSPs purely to bring up the view part of your web application. Read Bear's response in this thread. Also read this arcticle by Bear.
