Can someone suggest a user-friendly and intuitive blogging platform? The blogging platform should be such that setting up a blog is easy, writing and publishing posts is quick, providing basic features like RSS feed, search engine, etc. needs just the click of a button and customizing the layout/design is simple.

If you want something written in Java, check out http://pebble.sourceforge.net/. Otherwise, there are too many to mention - WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc. They all have the features you mention. "Easy" is of course in the eye of the beholder :-)

Thanks Ulf. Pebble seems to be a good choice.
