I checked at http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/extra/certification/javase-7-programmer2.html#concurrency but i couldn't find any Info regarding Semaphore. Exchanger. Phaser , Cyclic Barrier, CountDownLatch. Since there were changes in exam timings ? Can someone please confirm whether these topics are on the exam or not?
Thanks

The exam objectives list:

Concurrency
Use collections from the java.util.concurrent package with a focus on the advantages over and differences from the traditional java.util collections.
Use Lock, ReadWriteLock, and ReentrantLock classes in the java.util.concurrent.locks package to support lock-free thread-safe programming on single variables.
Use Executor, ExecutorService, Executors, Callable, and Future to execute tasks using thread pools.
Use the parallel Fork/Join Framework

Why are you expecting the classes you listed to be on it? Did it say that somewhere else?

I saw these topic covered in the book Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 7 Programmer Exams 1Z0-804 and 1Z0-805 by S.G.Ganesh.

The exam objectives changed over time. That book published some time ago so was probably based on an older version of the objectives.

Thanks for clarifying.is it safe to trust http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/extra/certification/javase-7-programmer2.html in sense that if something change/updated in exam objectives then oracle will immediately reflect the changes?

I don't know about *immediately*. This particular change was made a long time ago though.
