Reports in JSP Page

Dear Ranchers,

I am developing a Finance and Accounting Module in JSP and Oracle. In the report module, I have generate the Trial Balance in a report format, so as to extract the information into PDF or Excel format for the client.

I checked in google and found, it can be done using Jasper Report. I have downloaded the jar file.

Please give me some guidelines to move forward, like the best tutorial sites where I can get the information to generate and display a simple reports.
