I have been using Futures for a while in Scala and all that I need to know to use them is there is an implicit ExecutionContext somewhere available for the Future computation to happen.

I come from a Java EE background and having worked with Java EE containers, you seldom care about concurrency. I want to get myself much more familiar with ExecutionContext's, controlling them with Schedulers. Can anyone here recommend me a good text on this subject.

I'm bouncing back on my topic that I created over a year ago! Any suggestions?
