Cannot resolve Symbol : IntelliJ

I have created a simple Logger class and inside the class I have imported the package

import org.apache.log4j.Logger;

I am using IntelliJ (14.0.2) and there I am getting as "Cannot resolve symbol apache"

In the pom.xml I have the following lines :-

<dependencies>
        <dependency>
            <groupId>log4j</groupId>
            <artifactId>log4j</artifactId>
            <version>1.2.17</version>
        </dependency>
    </dependencies>
