I'm a bit confused about something.
I'm being told that there is no JVM for any Windows 64 bit hardware. So, that means you cannot run
Tomcat
on Win64.
Is there any truth in this?
If so what do you do as an alternative?

No, that would seem to be wrong information. The
Java
SE download page at java.sun.com specifically lists JVMs for the "Windows Platform" and the "Windows x64 Platform".

I think what they're on about actually that you cant run tomcat as a service.
Which seems to be true at present -

Unless there's been an update since then (whenever that undated update was).
