Just want to let my fellow Java instructors/ Java Ranchers out there that I was selected this year to help grade the 2004 AP Computer Science A and AB Free Response Questions.

Most of you know this national exam uses the Java language.

I will be traveling to Clemson University in South Carolina next week to do this.

I will let you all know about my trip and insight into how we grade those exams when I get back.

Got back from Clemson last Monday.

As for the coding I saw:

The eloquent, the great, the so-so, the bad, and the very bad.

Basically, I graded one of the four questions on the A exam. There is also a AB exam. We graded from 8-4:15 for 6 days (with breaks).

The exam next year will reflect Java 1.5 changes (i.e Scanner class, etc)

AP exams grades will be sent the first week of July.

Had fun!!
