Greetings, everyone!
That's a question to Mr. Massol, but your comment is always welcome.
Is JUnit suitable for performance testing, or I should use some other sort of tool?
I know Cactus is a 'sort of JUnit version' for Web testing (I'm so newbie on that ), and I also use JUnit tests only to check the proper functionality and integration of a class unit or classes block.

I work with a telephony realtime system, and testing performance BEFORE you actually deploy it into a real-life enviroment is really important.
Any suggestions or additional reading material, please?
Is there any intro (perhaps on the book in Action) that addresses performance using JUnit, and/or some situation/suggested tool table?
Thanks!

JUnit can be used as a simple performance testing framework with the help of JUnitPerf. However, for a telephony system with millions of dollars on the stake, I'd suggest investing into some more heavyweight products. Unfortunately, I'm not able to suggest any particular product...

Oh sure, it's a tiny ad, but under the right circumstances, it gets bigger.
