In page 4, the presentation describes an API anti pattern called Private Implementer. I've used this anti pattern many times. Can someone explain the weaknesses with this pattern. Thanks.

Interesting, that presentation is about the only place Google fines "private implementer". I'd guess his complaint is that the getGraphFinder() method always returns its own implementation of GraphFinder so we can't plug in our own implementation for testing (or any other) purposes. This does seem very commonplace and not always entirely evil.
