What are the differences between AUP (agile unified process) and RUP(rational unified process)?

Can anyone give some light on this topic.

These are both hybirds of the Unified Process. The AUP is the version created by the Agile Alliance. The RUP is the version created by Rational Software. There are other hybirds of the Unified Process. For example, the Unified Waterfalls: Rapid Project Methodology (UW-RPM).
