Hi !

Que: "How can I debug JSP with Eclipse ?"

I have a lots and heavy changing entities(variables) in JSPs/Servlet and difficult to keep track of them in log file (or console). Thats why I want debuger type of help, by which we can see the effect and change upon them step by step.

I have used the above facility in Visual Age for Java having its own debuging environment and looking for the same type of method or plugins in Eclipse.

Can you give me solution or direction ?

Thanking You.

Vishal.

Vishal,
Eclipse needs a plugin to support debugging JSPs. The commercial version (WSAD) provides this functionality built in. You can download a plug in like myeclipseide

Thanking you, Jeanne Boyarsky.

But myeclipseide having $29.99 cost per year. It is really very low price but I can't break company rules and strategy.

I am looking for opensource freeware plugins to debug JSPs in Eclipse.

F is for finger. Can you stick your finger in your nose? Doesn't that feel nice? Now try this tiny ad:
