How to run a java class from command line in eclipse

As a part of my MS program I was asked to do junit testing from commandline using eclipse. Can any one help me how can one run a class in eclipse from commandline

P.S. there is no commandline in Eclipse. You probably misunderstood the assignment.

Hey, Eclipse is an IDE (integrated development environment) for Java programming. One usually edits java source code in eclipse. You have choice to run debug/execute program, and the choice to run junit to test your program. But you need to configure Eclipse to do so (I think it is called preference in the drop-down menu). Also, it is not necessary to debug/execute/junit test in eclipse. You can simply do it from command-line console such as cmd.exe in win.

There is no command line in eclipse. You can either run JUnits from eclipse or from the command line outside of eclipse.
(or with ant inside or outside of eclipse)

select your java file -> right click -> select run -> Java Application

If you select "run as", you can set command line parameters for a java application.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
