I'm very new to netbeans 5.0, and am trying to create an enterprise application, but when trying to deploy I get the error message:
Cannot deploy. Module already exists. Set force=true for redeployment.; requested operation cannot be completed
Thanks

Well Mike, your issue isn't an EJB question more of a NetBeans one, so I am going to move this to the IDE forum.

But it is in your setting for when you build. Right now it is set to not rebuild, which means that part of the deploy function wants to try to create it, but the file already exists. When you build there should be a setting to tell it to always rebuild. Where that is, I don't know. Sorry. Good Luck

Mark
