Hi,

as you all know, every plugin has a bundle-version (you can check it out at the manifest.mf file). Everytime you make a change to the plug-in code, you increase the version number.

I was wondering if there is an automatic way to increase the version number (because keeping track of it manually sounds error-prone - you may forget to do that). Do you guys have something such as an ant script to take care of this problem?

Cheers, cachacero.

It would be part of an automated build process to version the jars. So, your first step is to come up with an automated build, then version numbers are trivial.
