Today Apple announced the Mac mini.

For those devos that have wanted to taste the waters of OS X as a great Java programming environment but didn't want to plunk a bunch of money down to try it out, they can now hook up their Happy Hacking Keyboard (or any other USB keyboard) and whatever monitor and USB mice they've got lying around (and yes, multi-button mice work just fine) and give it a spin for a much smaller investment than previously possible.

Sweet!

Mmmm. Could I somehow extend the life of my old PowerBook G4 using that? How would I hook up to it and work off it, using the laptop only for screen and keyboard?
