I'm trying to execute a javascript function pop('Day','eg') that displays a calendar by clicking on a button. And I always get the same error.

What, in general, could cause this error ?
"Object expected"

That the expected Object doesn't exist.
Did you spell "function pop(para, meter)" the same, are lower/uppercase and parameters identical?
I recommend Mozilla Firebird. It supplies you under tools/javascriptconsole with more detailed JS-Errormessages. Apart from JS-debugging it's also a fine browser.
