Has anybody used "Laszlo presentation server" for GUI development?
Any idea about how good it is and over its performance?
Thanks.

Never used it but you might want to read this: http://www.onclipevent.com/archives/enterframe/000014.html
or you might want to read their whitepaper:

I have never used it, however, at last years Java One, I sawy their presentation, and then later I actually saw a TV ad showing the Paint company that is using it. They actually showed their website application in the ad. It was a neat demo, looked really cool and pretty straight forward in terms of development.
I am very much into rich GUI clients, and to be able to see one distributed over a browser is very cool to me.
Good Luck and let us know how you like it.

Thanks Mark and Eric.
Mark, I liked the tool.
Object oriented and the usage of inheritance, classes etc. seems kool on the front end. Moreover it provides all the inbuilt basic components so you need to start from scratch. It uses a flash though you don't need to carry any flash knowledge ;-) Front end coding is totally in propriety XML.
Still we are not going for this tool as it doesn't cater our needs Importantly it doesn't provide/support any front end "exception handling" mechanism.
Now looking into Macromedia flex, any suggestions

It is an experimental device that will make my mind that most powerful force on earth! More powerful than this tiny ad!
