Hi All,

I am using a Word.Application ActiveX Control in JavaScript to spell check I am getting a an IE alert message stating "An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page....".

When I set the browser settings in Tools->Internet Options->Security tab->Custom level and changing as Enable for ActiveX controls I am not getting the above IE alert message.

IS there a way to stop the alert message programmatically using JavaScript or VBScript with out changing the browser settings.

Thanks in Advance.

No the security setting is there to keep people from doing bad things to your computer. Most of the securty flaws that Microsoft has comes from the misuse of ActiveX.
