I have a textarea that can have maximum of 50 cols and 4 rows. I am not able to have a check on the 4 rows restriction. So I was wondering if there is an even that gets fired whenever the text is wrapped.

I also checked for 200 characters limit but there are cases when it can cross 4 lines.

regards,
vijay.

Use a font like Courier in the text area.

How will that help.

I want the user not to enter more than 4 rows of text in the text area with maximum of 50 character per row. I have tried many things but nothing is working properly. The easiest would be catch an onwrap event(if it exists) or something similar and program accordingly.

vijay.
