Hi,
I have the following code

in the load.jsp i have defined text with id attribute as user_id

I want to access the user_id in linkScreen.jsp. I am trying to use parent.loadFrame.document.getElementByID('user_id'), but not able to get the value. Instead it throws error.

can someone help to identify the error and what is correct way of doing
it.

thnx in advance

well the D is not capitalized....
getElementById

If you just typed it wrong here, when are you calling this? What is the error message?
