Hello

I need to pass parameters from browser I have called from a j2se client back to a java class, Is this possible?

or in other words I need to serialize data in browser on to the file system.

can you point me to some examples which may help me achieve this?

Thanks
Harsha

What's wrong with the usual form submission?

You haven't given enough detail to know what special requirements you may have.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the classic form submission, but I have a java (j2se) client not a j2ee client, you know what I mean, no request object, no container ...

I know in applets you could use netscape's JSObject, but I was curious to know how to pass paramaters to a j2se client.

Thanks
Harsha

I found the solution to the problem, I will probably end up using activex control to write to the file as shown in the link

Thanks
