In ASP, we make use of the XMLHTTP object (MSXML2.XMLHTTP) to send an arbitrary HTTP request, receive the response, and have the Microsoft XML Document Object Model (DOM) parse that response. How do I do it in Java? Does Java have an equivalent of MSXML2.XMLHTTP? If it does, how is it used? Thanks.
